Terms of Service

These terms cover Ratify EDI, a Ratify product, and follow the Ratify Terms of Service, with the additions below that are specific to Ratify EDI.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Ratify EDI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Ratify EDI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of service

Ratify EDI provides a workspace for hosting, versioning, discussing and obtaining partner acknowledgment on EDI implementation guides and related documents. Optional features include an AI module for questions about your documents, and quoted services such as mapping and exception monitoring.

3. Founding Handshake Program (beta)

The Founding Handshake Program is a paid beta with a limited number of places. Founding prices are shown on edi.getratify.com in US dollars, exclude taxes, and stay in place for as long as your subscription continues without a break. Beta features may change, and some may be added or removed as the product develops. One build request per founding member is included after a feasibility review; accepting a request does not guarantee a delivery date. Services marked “Quoted” are agreed separately in writing before any work starts.

4. AI credits

The AI module includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused monthly credits do not roll over unless we say otherwise. Credits used per action are listed on our pricing section and may be adjusted with notice. If you use your own AI provider key, that provider’s own terms and charges apply.

5. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

6. Content ownership and your rights to upload

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload. We do not claim ownership over your documents, comments, or other content, and we only use it as necessary to provide and improve the service. You confirm that you have the right to upload and share each document you add, including any third-party standards material it contains, and that doing so, including using it with the optional AI module, is permitted by the licenses that apply to that material.

7. Approval and acknowledgment records

Acknowledgment and approval records include the signer’s typed name, timestamp, and IP address. While these records provide evidence of agreement, they may not constitute legally binding signatures in all jurisdictions. Consult legal counsel for your specific use case.

8. Prohibited uses

You may not use Ratify EDI to store or transmit illegal content, impersonate others, distribute malware, or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

9. Limitation of liability

Ratify EDI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI answers can be wrong; always check them against the cited section of the guide. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
